Subsea Tie-in using MODU

ICON has experience with tie-in solutions that do not require the support of a dynamically positioned (DP) diving support vessel. This allows tie-ins from the wellhead to pipeline to be undertaken from floating drilling rigs.

By utilising a rig already in attendance instead of mobilising a DP diving support vessel, considerable cost savings can be achieved.

This approach can also lead to a safer operation by reducing diving activity.
