Running conductors is an operation in which well executed installation can have a major bearing on a rig’s efficiencies. Having the right equipment to move conductors from the rig’s V-door, through the derrick, the drill-floor rotary table and the platform guides and into the seabed, is crucial.
ICON’s intimate working knowledge of floating and jack up drilling rigs has led it to design and fabricate a range of drilling conductor handling and support equipment, including a unique range of gripper clamps that can be used to support the conductor both above and below the drill floor, in various operations. It has a range of sizes to suit all casing from standard drill pipe up to 36”.
