ICON Engineering carried out the installation of the WP-IA Jacket and the floatover installation of the WP-IA topsides.

ICON Engineering was responsible for the design, fabrication and installation of the Double Island minimal platform.

ICON Engineering performed a multidiscipline Front End Engineering Design (FEED) Project for three unmanned offshore wellhead platform topsides and detailed auditable cost estimates.

    Diamond Offshore. Ocean Bounty Semisubmersible Drilling Rig Upgrade.

ICON Engineering undertook a turnkey contract to lower the cellar deck, install a new pedestal crane, relocate an existing pedestal crane and provide a subsea tree skidding system. The work was undertaken offshore and while on tow between drilling locations rather than in a shipyard.

   Lundin Malaysia Ltd. Bunga Kekwa Annex Platform Installation.

ICON Engineering carried out the installation of the Bunga Kekwa-A Annex platform.

  Apache Energy. Design & Build Conductor Tensioning System.

ICON Engineering designed and built a hydraulic conductor tensioning system for use on jackup drilling rigs while drilling exploration wells with slender surface casing.

   Chevron Australia - Addition of Cowle 5 well slot to monopod.

ICON Engineering designed, fabricated and installed a new well slot on the Cowle monopod.

    BHP Petroleum Ltd. Installation of Buffalo platform.

ICON Engineering was responsible for the installation engineering and the offshore installation of the Buffalo Wellhead Platform installed in the Timor Sea.

    Esso Australian Limited. Installation of subsea flowline jumpers for the Blackback field.

ICON Engineering was responsible for the installation of the flowline jumpers linking the wells and the export pipeline. The water depth was 400m. The work was carried out from the Sedco 702 MODU.

  Schlumberger Oilfield Australia. Sedco 703 MODU Vessel impact repair.

ICON Engineering was commissioned to project manage and execute repair of vessel impact damage to a stability column on Sedco 703 rig.

   West Australian Petroleum Pty. Limited. Design and Installation of an additional conductor slot on Saladin A Platform.

ICON Engineering reanalysed the existing platform, confirmed that it could support an additional conductor, then designed fabricated and installed the additional bracing, guides and hatches.

   Schlumberger Oilfield Australia. Sedco 703 MODU christmas tree skid beams.

ICON Engineering was commissioned to design, fabricate and install the tree skidding system on the semi-submersible drilling rig Sedco 703. System allows assembly and skidding of 60 tonne trees into the moonpool area for installation.

   Schlumberger Oilfield Australia. Sedco 702 lifeboat platform repair.

ICON Engineering designed and installed a replacement lifeboat platform for the Sedco 702 MODU. All work was carried out whilst the rig was under tow to New Zealand.

   Schlumberger Oilfield Australia. Sedco 702 ROV deck for the Blackback project.

ICON Engineering designed and installed a large cantilevered deck to allow a work class ROV to be deployed outside the rigs pontoons. This ROV was used for tie in of the Blackback flow lines.

  Woodside Petroleum / BRK. North West Shelf Development 2nd Trunkline Project, conceptual trenching machine.

This project is being carried out in conjunction with Kirk Engineering Consultants and includes the study of rock cutting and ploughing machines. A testing programme is currently being developed for prototype machines developed in the first phase of the work.
